What shows a woman’s hand soigne is her nails. If they are well-groomed, the hand seems more elegant. It may seem like a little detail, but the nails can change your appearance totally.

The nail is made of a hard protein which is called “keratin”. In fact the hand and toe nails help to protect the ends of the fingers and toes from kinds of traumas and also help us pick up some small objects. But over the last hundreds years, nails have become more important for cosmetic reasons rather than protection.

Nail protection is manicuring. We had better do a basic manicure once a week. Apart from this basic manicure, every 4-6 weeks it is a good idea to get a professional help about manicure. Because, naturally professional manicurist best knows how to keep your nails look healthier and more beautiful.
A good detail to reach healthy nails is to keep your hands clean, feminine and polished. And these little applications does not require weekly trips to the manicurist. Let’s see some easy nail care tips to have perfect nails with a little effort.
  • Grime: Your nails deserves to be clean and well protected. Using a nailbrush is a perfect way to give them the required cleanse. You can also use some cleansing agents in order to get rid of the oil on your hands and under nails.
  • Infections: If your nails go crumbly and whitish or yellowish and separate slightly from the nail bed then it could be a nail fungus infection. When you face such a problem, best thing for you is to go a doctor. Your doctor can prescribe an anti-fungal paint to get rid of it.
  • Soak your hands in warm water for a few minutes to soften the cuticles. Cuticles is the bit of skin at the bottom of your nails.
  • After you soften your cuticles, push them back very gently.
  • Try to trim your nails to the same length, cut of any snaggy or spiky bits.
  • File the ends of your nails to smooth them off.
  • Use nail creams in order to feed and strengthen your nails.
  • Maybe the most important part, don’t bite your nails! If you can’t help biting them, use an anti-biting nail paint. It’s taste is so disgusting that you will never think of biting your nails again.
